Beira arrived at our shelter in 2022 when she was just a couple of months old. She was born among other cats in the facilities of a company, and from the beginning, she showed an immense fear towards people. A deep fear that has required years of patience, respect, and hard work. Today, Beira is 4 years old, and although the journey has been long, all the effort made by the volunteers who have accompanied her has been worth it. With the people she knows and trusts, she is a friendly, affable, and very sweet cat. She enjoys company, treats, and small moments of peace where she can finally relax and feel safe. In her photos, you can see a life marked by comings and goings, misunderstandings, and the eternal wait for an opportunity that never seems to arrive. And yet, Beira has continued to progress. She is a cat that, given everything she has managed to overcome, we believe could adapt wonderfully to a home if she finds someone capable of giving her time, patience, and trust. She needs a family that understands that there are animals that flourish slowly, but when they do, they create a very special bond. Beira llegó al albergue en 2022 cuando apenas tenía un par de meses. Había nacido en las instalaciones de una empresa, junto a otros gatos, y desde el principio mostró muchísimo miedo hacia las personas. Un miedo profundo y que ha necesitado años de paciencia, respeto y trabajo.Hoy Beira tiene 4 años y, aunque el camino ha sido largo, todo el esfuerzo de las voluntarias que la han acompañado ha merecido la pena. Con las personas que conoce y en quienes confía, es una gata cariñosa, simpática y muy dulce. Disfruta de la compañía, de las chuches y de pequeños momentos tranquilos en los que por fin puede relajarse y sentirse segura.En sus fotos podéis ver una vida entera marcada por las idas y venidas, la incomprensión y la eterna espera de una oportunidad que nunca termina de llegar. Y aun así, Beira ha seguido avanzando. Es una gata que, por todo lo que ha conseguido superar, creemos que podría adaptarse maravillosamente a un hogar si encuentra a alguien capaz de darle tiempo, paciencia y confianza.
