Boneca ist eine liebe Hündin mit einer Schulterhöhe von etwa 45 cm. Anfangs zeigt sie sich ängstlich, sie braucht ein wenig Zeit, um Vertrauen zu fassen. Hat sie erst einmal verstanden, dass man es gut mit ihr meint, zeigt sie ihre fröhliche und herzliche Seite. Mit anderen Hunden ist Boneca verträglich und generell eine angenehme Begleiterin.
