Support and Health How much training will I need? Needs some support Can I be left alone? Potentially, once settled Bonnie was described as vocal and distressed when left home alone previously. Any home alone time will need to be built up slowly at a pace Bonnie is comfortable with, once she has fully settled into her new environment. Do I have any medical conditions? History of Bonnie has historic medical conditions, namely suspected Inflammatory Bowel Disease and Gastroenteritis (resolved), that will require consideration before this pet is rehomed. Our rehoming team will be able to give you further information if you apply to rehome them and you are a successful match. We would also advise that any medical conditions, be that historic or ongoing, are discussed with your own vet prior to taking them home. Who I can live with Can I live with dogs? No Can I live with cats? Yes, conditionally - A bold, dog savvy cat following correct introductions. Can I live with small pets? Yes Additional information Bonnie doesn’t gain much from interacting with other dogs, she will often choose not to interact with other dogs often. We have seen on occasion she has initiated a short polite greeting. However she is worried of larger dogs so will avoid them. She could potentially walk with another dog but they would need to be calm and accept she is very independent, so will likely not want to play with them. Family and environment What kind of family am I looking for? Any children in Bonnie’s new home would need to be aged 11 plus, due to her being very bouncy and affectionate with her known people. Bonnie really enjoys time with her people, often following them around and curling up next to them! What type of environment would suit me? Bonnie would benefit from her own private garden, as she loves chasing a ball around and running off lead. But this is not essential as long as she has plenty of toilet opportunities and regular dog walks. About Bonnie Meet Bonnie, a gorgeous, affectionate girl with the sweetest teddy bear face and a huge love for her people! Bonnie is a friendly, loving dog who adores fuss, cuddles, treats and praise, and she’ll happily follow her favourite people around for affection. She can be wonderfully bouncy and excitable, especially with those she knows, so she would suit a family with children aged 11+ who can help her manage her enthusiasm. Bonnie enjoys exploring and sniffing on walks, loves chasing a ball, and has good recall once she has built a bond with you. She has previously lived happily with a cat and small pets, although introductions should always be gradual and supervised. Bonnie can be nervous around other dogs, particularly larger dogs, and would prefer to avoid busy dog interactions. Her biggest challenge is being left alone, as she can become very anxious and vocal, so she will need patient owners who can gradually build her confidence and independence. In return, Bonnie promises plenty of love, loyalty, cuddles and a very happy welcome every time you come home!
