Sadly Buddy's owner passed away and his family unfortunately were not in the position to keep him. He would suit a home where he will have company during the day (people who work from home or retired people), and he's now waiting and ready to go to his forever home where he will be the only pet. Meantime, he's enjoying life in a foster home in Glasgow, Scotland, provided by Project Galgo . Buddy is 9 years old, weighs 29kg and is a brindle and white Saluki/Greyhound Cross. He is a sweet little angel. He’s cheeky because he will prod you for more strokes if you stop and it ever ends. You could sit by his side stroking his head forever, he would never have enough! Buddy is playful and will let you know when he wants to play, or you’ll hear him gallop from the other room and just bury his big nose under your arm. He loves getting the toys out to bounce around the house a bit. He likes to spend time with people and likes it when people are able to engage with his playfulness. His duck plushie is a solid favourite. Buddy is independent, chilled and enjoys snoozing, but he sometimes gets up and moves around the house, chooses a different spot and doesn’t see the need to interrupt a good nap. A house with an appropriately fenced garden would be perfect for him. He loves playing fetch and being able to do it in a garden where he can stretch and run a bit further would be great for him. Buddy loves a walk, especially in the sun; he loves the sun, just smelling and noticing everything in his surrounding. He's very curious and is a wonderful companion. He behaves beautifully in the pub and cafes; you can take him anywhere and he’ll be happy with a chew and some attention, though he can be left for a couple of hours. Buddy wags his tail a lot more when he sees his carers and definitely notices when they're not home (he either watches from the window or waits for them in the hall). He absolutely loves friends visiting and a little (quiet) social gathering. He’s still jumpy with loud noises and people approaching him with sudden boisterous movements. He doesn’t seem to mind loud noises if they’re not nearby. Buddy's perfect home would be where he will have company during the day and that will be able to keep his medicine routine. His health is good, but he is diagnosed with Epilepsy and is on daily medication but is very stable. _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ Could sociable Buddy be your perfect companion? If so, please contact Project Galgo or as follows: Email: Please mention that you saw Buddy on the Oldies Club website.
