Calen (female) 🎂 Birthday: approximately 2024 📌 Location: Cyprus, Monastery Colony 🏡 Living situation: no unsecured outdoor access, no solitary housing Hello, I'm Calen! A few months ago, I appeared in the Monastery Colony with a big belly but very thin. There was food and a place to sleep, so I stayed. However, after a week, I disappeared briefly and returned without my belly and without the babies, and the babies were nowhere to be found. But I settled into the colony and learn to trust people in small steps. I have no problems with other cats. I would like a home where I can be given the time I need without being pressured to build my trust. A cat that is already confident and sovereign would be very helpful to me. Do you think we can do this together? Then you should write to Heroes for Cyprus Cats right away! I will start my journey to you chipped, vaccinated, tested for FiV/FelV, and with an EU pet passport. ----------------------------------------------------------- Who are the heroes behind Heroes for Cyprus Cats? We at Heroes for Cyprus Cats are a dedicated team of animal lovers from Cyprus, Germany, Austria, and Switzerland who are committed to the welfare of street cats in Cyprus. Our goal is to improve the lives of these cats sustainably. Our local team in Cyprus feeds, neuters, and cares for sick or injured cats on the streets and in the cat colonies. If necessary, we bring them to foster families where they wait in a safe environment for their family. In addition, we maintain a strong online presence, process inquiries from adopters, and provide support at the airport. Street cats in Cyprus suffer greatly and are often victims of car accidents or cruel mistreatment. Many simply starve or die from diseases that are not treated. We save them from this sad fate and work tirelessly to find a loving, safe home for our rescued cats. We attach great importance to a collegial, transparent, and respectful relationship within our team and to potential adopters. For us, adopting a cat is just the beginning. We are committed to supporting our rescued cats and their new families for a lifetime. Together, we make a difference for every single cat.
