Atualização 3.2.2026: Dois meses atrás, recebemos mensagens sobre um cão abandonado e seus filhotes vivendo bem ao lado de uma estrada muito movimentada. Quando tentamos resgatar a pequena família, rapidamente ficou claro o quão difícil seria. Calrose estava totalmente assustada e não deixava ninguém se aproximar dela. Enquanto os filhotes já estavam seguros, levou cinco longos dias de paciência e construção de confiança, passando horas com ela todos os dias, antes de conseguirmos finalmente capturá-la. Mesmo hoje, Calrose ainda é insegura e nem sempre se sente confortável perto das pessoas. Mas pouco a pouco, ela está começando a se abrir. Calrose está aprendendo devagar que os humanos podem ser gentis. Ela está demonstrando ser sensível, gentil e amigável. Com um pouco de tempo, paciência e compreensão, ela certamente se tornará um ótimo companheiro. Agora, o momento está chegando lentamente para ela passar o testemunho e sair de seu papel de mãe dedicada e começar uma nova fase da sua vida. Calrose tem 2 anos e meio e pesa 16 kg. Description/Updates/Pictures: Update February 2026: Two months ago, we received messages about an abandoned dog and her puppies living right next to a very busy road. When we tried to rescue the little family, it quickly became clear how difficult it would be. Calrose was absolutely terrified and wouldn’t let anyone come near her. While her puppies were already safe, it took us five long days of patience and trust-building, spending hours with her every single day, before we were finally able to catch her. Even today, Calrose is still insecure and doesn’t always feel comfortable around people. But little by little, she is starting to open up. Calrose is slowly learning that humans can be kind. She’s showing herself to be sensitive, gentle, and friendly. With a bit of time, patience, and understanding, she’ll surely become a wonderful companion. Now, the time is slowly coming for her to pass the torch and move on from her role as a devoted mom and to start a new chapter of her own Their rescue November 2025: This is the momma of the seven pups who were found in a field. We already introduced the pups we recently took in, the beautiful babies with their momma from the field. They are so precious. Calrose first ran away but when one of our cartakers went back with two of her precious pups she jumped into the car. She was so desperate to have them back! The benefit of having them together and with their mom is great! What makes a solid, stable mental development is having the family unit together during this crucial, young age.
