CAMEO has seen hell. And he was right in the middle of it. Near Botosani, there was the Hell Shelter VASLUI. Dog catchers, hired by the communities, brought the dogs to this holding facility. There, the dogs did not come out alive. CAMEO still bears the mark of the ear tag himself – for the catchers, there is cash money. For so long, the dogs had to survive without food and mistreatment. How many died there and in what manner – no one will ever know. Last year, another catch operation took place. The organizers on site joined forces and launched a rescue mission. Although they have no space, they came together and freed many dogs. Dana also took in some. So, CAMEO moved in with her. But CAMEO had already seen too much and felt too much. And even after many months, he is still trapped in his fear and cannot believe that there is anything good in this world. Feeling and seeing his fear hurts and penetrates to the very core. CAMEO lives in a pen with another dog who was also mistreated. Thus, they live together in this fear bubble without escape. But the danger of placing these dogs in other pens is simply too great. They would never fight back. CAMEO’s pen mate will soon be traveling abroad. He was CAMEO’s anchor in this world. And something terrible will happen in his life again. CAMEO allows himself to be touched – even though he doesn’t know what the person in front of him wants. But there is also no time to take care of him intensively. And the noise and the hectic at the animal shelter do not help either. CAMEO lets everything happen to him, has never become aggressive. His life is only fear, and who can blame him… neutered, vaccinated, ready to travel CAMEO’s Album: CAMEO is not a dog for everyone. We are looking for that one person who has experience with anxious dogs. A quiet home without children. A confident, only dog could be a help to him. We hope that CAMEO will eventually find his way out of his fear with patience, time, and peace, but it could take a long time. He will not be walking around on a safety harness within a few days. He will probably not greet you wagging his tail. Maybe he will, but we don’t think so. He does not need adventures or people who expect something from him. We are looking for the person who CAMEO can finally trust and who will take him as he is. Please do not apply for him. He must not fall into misfortune again, and we want to be sure that his person will always be there for him, with the exact knowledge that a long road lies ahead.

CAMEO hat die Hölle gesehen. Und er war mittendrin. In der Nähe von Botosani gab es den Höllenshelter VASLUI. Hundefänger, die von den Gemeinden engagiert wurden, brachten die Hunde in dieses Auflanglager. Dort kamen die Hunde nicht mehr lebendig heraus. CAMEO trägt noch das Loch selber Ohrmarke – dafür gibt es für die Fänger bares Geld . So lange mussten die Hunde ohne Fressen und Misshandlungen überleben. Wieviele dort gestorben sind und auf welche Art – es wird keiner jemals er erfahren. Letztes Jahr fand wieder eine Fangaktion statt. Die Orgas vor Ort taten sich zusammen und starteten eine Rettungsaktion. Obwohl keiner Platz hat, rückten sie zusammen und befreiten viele Hunde. Auch Dana nahm einige auf. CAMEO zog also bei ihr ein. Aber CAMEO hatte schon zu viel gesehen und spüren müssen. Und auch nach vielen Monaten ist er in seiner Angst gefangen und kann nicht daran glauben, dass es in dieser Welt etwas Gutes gibt. Seine Angst zu fühlen und zu sehen, schmerzt und bis tief in die Seele. CAMEO lebt mit einem anderen Hund im Zwinger, der ebenfalls misshandelt wurde. Somit leben sie zusammen in dieser Angstblase ohne Entkommen. Aber die Gefahr diese Hunde in andere Zwinger zu setzen, ist einfach viel zu groß. Sie würden sich niemals wehren. Sein Zwingerfreund wird bald ausreisen. Er war sein Halt in dieser Welt. Und wieder wird etwas Schlimmes in seinem Leben passieren . CAMEO lässt sich anfassen – auch wenn er nicht weiß, was der Mensch da vor ihm möchte. Es bleibt aber auch nicht die Zeit sich intensiv um ihn zu kümmern. Und der Lärm so wie die Hektik im Tierheim helfen auch nicht. CAMEO lässt alles mit sich machen, ist nie aggressiv geworden. Das Leben ist für ihn nur Angst und wer kann es ihm verübeln…. Kastriert, geimpft, ausreisebereit CAMEOs Album: CAMEO ist kein Hund für jedermann. Wir suchen diesen einen Menschen, der Erfahrung mit ängstlichen Hunden hat. Ein ruhiges Zuhause ohne Kinder. Ein souveräner Ersthund könnte ihm eine Hilfe sein. Wir hoffen, dass CAMEO mit Geduld, Zeit und Ruhe aus seiner Angst herausfindet, aber das kann lange dauern. Er wird nicht innerhalb ein paar Tage an einem Sicherheitsgeschirr spazieren gehen. Er wird Dich vermutlich auch nicht schwanzwedelnd begrüßen. Vielleicht doch, aber wir denken es nicht. Er braucht keine Abenteuer oder Menschen, die etwas von ihm erwarten. Wir suchen den Menschen, dem CAMEO endlich vertrauen kann und der ihn einfach so nimmt, wie er ist. Bitte meldet euch ansonsten nicht für ihn. Er darf nicht nochmal ins Unglück stürzen und wir möchten sicher sein, dass SEIN Mensch immer für ihn da ist, mit dem genauen Wissen, dass ein langer Weg bevorsteht .
