Charlie é o tipo de cão que faz você parar e olhar duas vezes enquanto ele passa. Ele tem características totalmente suas. É a cor dele? Suas grandes orelhas que moldam sua cabeça como um quadro incompleto? O modo como seu rosto se enruga com cada expressão? Seu corpo sólido e pernas curtas? se tivesse que descrevê-lo corretamente, provavelmente diria que sua raça é simplesmente "Charlie". Ele é jovem e cheio de energia. Curioso, ansioso para cheirar tudo, correr, brincar e participar de tudo que está acontecendo ao seu redor. Uma simples caminhada não é suficiente para Charlie, ele quer experimentá-la plenamente, com entusiasmo. Isso significa que ele puxará a coleira. Não por teimosia ou más intenções, mas porque ele realmente acredita que, se ele não vir tudo naquele momento, pode perder algo importante. Ele não é um cão para uma caminhada lenta pelo quarteirão. Charlie is the kind of dog who makes you stop and look twice as he walks by. He has features that are entirely his own. Is it his coloring? His big ears that frame his head like a half-finished painting? The way his face wrinkles with every expression? His solid body and short legs? If you had to describe him properly, you’d probably say his breed is simply “Charlie.” He is young and full of energy. Curious, eager to sniff everything, run, play, and be part of whatever is happening around him. A simple walk isn’t enough for Charlie, he wants to experience it fully, with enthusiasm. That means he will pull on the leash. Not out of stubbornness or bad intentions, but because he genuinely believes that if he doesn’t see everything right now, he might miss something important. He is not a dog for a slow walk around the block. He needs activity, play, and proper outlets for his energy. When he gets those, he becomes a completely different dog. He relaxes, settles down, and looks at you with that familiar expression, already waiting for the next walk. Charlie is a good-natured and sweet dog who has never lived on the streets. He grew up and lived in a home, but with people who were unable or unwilling to truly engage with him. In reality, Charlie is not a difficult dog. He has the intelligence and the character to become an excellent companion, as long as he finds a person who can offer him a full and active daily life. We see him and live with him every day, and we know that he is not lacking kindness or affection. What he is missing is his person. If you are looking for a naturally calm dog, Charlie is not the one. But if you want a beautiful, lively dog who will get you off the couch and into life, then Charlie is truly worth meeting.
