Cherry is a very poor, but therefore all the more lovable female dog. Cherry was found by one of our workers near his house in the village of Chiobanovca. This was in September 19. She could neither stand nor walk; her hind legs were covered in blood clots. Our vet treated her for a long time, but it just didn’t get better. There was a point where it seemed like she should be put to sleep. But she showed so much life and will to live that we couldn’t bring ourselves to do it. In the meantime, she can walk, not normally, but she even goes for walks with the other dogs through the shelter. Cherry will never walk normally again, but she enjoys life. She doesn’t have to fight for anything here; she has a warm bed and enough food. We are very happy that she has developed in such a way. She is not incontinent, which is always important. Cherry is a small golden treasure, the most friendly and loving to people, and she gets along with all the other dogs. Cherry is approximately 4-5 years old as of December 21. Cherry has sponsors, many thanks to them.

Cherry ist eine ganz arme, dafür aber umso liebenswertere Hündin. Cherry wurde von einem unserer Arbeiter im Dorf Chiobanovca nahe seinem Haus gefunden. Das war 09/19. Sie konnte weder stehen und laufen, ihre Hinterpfoten waren einzige Blutklumpen. Unser Tierarzt hat sie lange behandelt, aber es wurde einfach nicht besser. Da stand im Raum, sie zu erlösen. Aber sie hat so viel Lebenswillen gezeigt, dass wir es nicht fertig gebracht haben. Inzwischen kann sie laufen, nicht normal, aber sie geht sogar teilweise mit dem Freilaufrudel durchs Heim. Cherry wird nie normal laufen können, aber sie genießt das Leben. Sie muss hier um nichts kämpfen, hat ein warmes Bett und ausreichend Futter. Wir sind sehr froh, dass sie sich wenigstens so entwickelt hat. Sie ist nicht inkontinent, das ist immer ganz wichtig. Cherry ist ein kleiner Goldschatz, die absolut freundlich ist und Menschen liebt und sich auch mit allen Hunden versteht. Cherry ist mit Stand 12/21 ca. 4 – 5 Jahre alt.
