In Huelva, a clumsy little man has just won the hearts of the animal welfare workers in a storm. Chubby lives up to his name, because "chubby" means "chubby." But at just 4 months old (as of July 2023), he can still carry around a bit of baby fat, and we are all very sure that this little delight will soon become a sporty and elegant male dog. Chubby's wonderful green eyes (just like his playful red nose) hint that somewhere in his lineage, there might be a hidden Podenco, and anyone who knows this breed knows that their representatives are not known for staying chubby once they discover their long legs and love for movement. So far, Chubby is more impressed by his curiosity, his bravery, and his almost uncontrollable readiness to snuggle with the animal protectors from morning till night. He gets along well with the other puppies and young dogs, and he also enjoys going for walks with our partner's dog walkers. Chubby is a healthy, curious, and cheerful puppy who is just waiting to become the best friend of a humorous, patient, and loving family that has plenty of time to spend with him and explore the world with him.

In Huelva erobert ein tollpatschiger kleiner Mann gerade die Herzen der Tierschützer im Sturm. Chubby macht seinem Namen alle Ehre, denn „chubby“ bedeutet „pummelig“. Aber wenn man erst 4 Monate alt ist (Stand 07/2023) dann darf man ruhig noch etwas Babyspeck mit sich rumtragen, und wir sind uns alle sehr sicher, dass aus diesem kleinen Wonneproppen schon bald ein sportlicher und eleganter Rüde geworden ist. Chubbys wundervolle grüne Augen deuten (ebenso wie seine lustige rote Nase) darauf hin, dass sich in seiner Ahnenreihe sicher der ein oder andere Podenco versteckt, und wer diese Rasse kennt, weiß, dass ihre Vertreter nicht dafür bekannt sind, pummelig zu bleiben, wenn sie erstmal ihre langen Beine und den Spaß an der Bewegung entdeckt haben. Bislang begeistert Chubby eher durch seine Neugierde, seine Furchtlosigkeit und seine kaum zu bändigende Bereitschaft, von früh bis spät mit den Tierschützern zu schmusen. Er kommt prima mit den anderen Welpen und Junghunden aus und geht auch schon sehr gerne mit den Gassigängern unserer Partner spazieren. Chubby ist ein gesunder, neugieriger und fröhlicher Welpe, der nur darauf wartet, der beste Freund einer humorvollen, geduldigen und liebenswerten Familie zu werden, die viel Zeit für ihn hat und mit ihm die Welt kennenlernen und in Besitz nehmen möchte.
