Everyone meet our next poundie … Dec!💚 This lad came in from the pound as he was unclaimed stray. It’s clear he’s had a rough start in life and needs an empathic home who will build his confidence in the right way!❤️🩹 Dec is a small Chihuahua cross who’s around 9/10 months old. He’s currently in foster with two older dogs and doing well. He could live with dogs who are well balanced and calm or as single dog on his own.🐶 This lad takes a little while to trust you but once he trusts you, he’s great. Any fast or sudden movements do scare him, that’s why we feel he would be better in an adult only home.🏡 He was great at the vets, where he passed a full health check, started his vaccinations, was flead, wormed and mircochipped. Dec will be neutered when he’s ready!✔️ This lad needs a confident handler, who treats him like a dog. Not a baby. He finds reassurance in confidence from his handler and blossoms quickly that way. He is a switched on lad who’s got the world at his paws!🐾 Dec is learning to walk nicely on lead, he travels well and is getting used to being handled by different people.
