Dorothy is a 6-year-old pointer cross looking for a calm, understanding home where she can feel safe and settled. She is very much an indoor dog who loves comfort and being close to her people. Dorothy is an extremely sociable girl who enjoys the company of other dogs and would likely thrive in a home with canine companions and plenty of open space to explore. Dorothy can find busy environments overwhelming, particularly heavy traffic, busy roads and loud surroundings, so she is looking for a peaceful, quieter lifestyle. She absolutely enjoys walks in forests, along rivers, on beaches and in open spaces where she feels relaxed and comfortable. She is good with children, however we feel an older, calmer home would suit her best where her boundaries and need for peace can be respected. An ideal home for Dorothy could be somewhere rural or semi-rural, perhaps with a secure garden, open land or even a farm-style environment where she can enjoy life at a gentler pace alongside other dogs. She is a lovely, affectionate girl who simply needs the right environment to truly flourish ❤️
