Duko was given up by the “family” he’d known; they moved homes, and there was no room for him anymore. Duko is a fairly large, high-energy dog. He’s a mix of Weimaraner and Belgian Shepherd—dogs that need plenty of activity and an active family. He’s a very friendly, playful dog who gets along wonderfully with other dogs. Right now, he’s staying at a foster home because we had to take him out of the shelter—he suffered from enteropathy, an intestinal problem triggered by the stress of being abandoned. Today, he’s fully recovered and, above all, happy. In the end, all he really needed was companionship and to feel loved and not abandoned. He lives with a cat, and so far there haven’t been any conflicts between them. However, he’s not suitable for children; he gets very nervous around them and tends to react abruptly. We suspect this is just a matter of time and patience on our part. Otherwise, he’s an incredibly affectionate, playful dog who’ll be eager to join you on all your adventures. Duko fue cedido por la que era su "familia", se mudaron de hogar y para él no había sitio. Duko es un perro bastante grande y de alta energía. Es un mestizo de Braco de Weimar y Pastor Belga, el cuál necesita de actividad y una familia activa. Es un perro bastante simpático, juguetón y muy sociable con otros perros. Actualmente se encuentra en una residencia ya que tuvimos que sacarlo del refugio puesto que sufrió una enteropatía, un problema intestinal provocado por el estrés que supone un abandono. Hoy día está totalmente recuperado y sobre todo feliz. Al final él solo necesitaba compañía y no sentirse abandonado. Convive con un gato, y en principio no ha habido ningún altercado. Sin embargo no es apto con niños, se pone muy nervioso y tiende a reaccionar bruscamente, suponemos que es cuestión de trabajo y paciencia. Por lo demás no deja de ser un perro sumamente cariñoso, juguetón y estará dispuesto a acompañarte en todas tus aventuras. ¿Quieres ser tú la futura familia de Duko?
