Current location: Auffangstation Istanbul (Turkey) Elena is one of many dogs that originated from a shelter that has since closed down. There, conditions were catastrophic. Elena longs for stability, trust, security, and affection. The female dog is very thin and suffers immensely from the stressful situation at the shelter. There are far too many dogs in the enclosures, and they barely have room to move around. The weaker dogs especially have it tough. She is neither used to a leash nor a collar, but with lots of patience and care, she can learn to use them. She is very sensitive and quiet, blending in completely. She must be lovingly pampered first in a home. An outgoing dog for orientation would be ideal. Leash and alone time – all of this must be learned by Elena. With positive reinforcement and loving consistency, she will quickly internalize these lessons.

Derzeitiger Aufenthaltsort: Auffangstation Istanbul (Türkei) Elena ist eine von vielen Hunden, die aus einer inzwischen geschlossenen Auffangstation stammen. Dort herrschten katastrophale Zustände. Elena sehnt sich nach Stabilität, Vertrauen, Sicherheit und Zuwendung. Die Hündin ist sehr mager, leidet extrem unter der stressigen Situation in der Auffangstation. Viel zu viele Hunde sind in den Gehegen, sie können sich kaum aus dem Weg gehen. Gerade die schwächeren Hunde haben es enorm schwer. Sie kennt weder Leine noch Halsband, das sollte aber mit viel Ruhe und Geduld kein Problem sein, dass sie das lernen kann. Sie ist sehr sensibel und ruhig, geht völlig unter dort. Muss in jedem Fall im Zuhause erstmal liebevoll aufgepäppelt werden. Ideal wäre eine eher ländlichere Wohngegend. Ein sozialer Ersthund zum Orientieren wäre ideal. Leine und Alleine Bleiben – das alles muss Elena noch lernen. Mit positiver Verstärkung und liebevoller Konsequenz wird sie das schnell verinnerlichen.
