Elmo has never had luck with people in his life. We don't know what caused him to be found on Mokotów on a November day. However, everything points to the fact that he once had a home. Elmo walks beautifully on a leash. He likes to stay close to a person, but also moves ahead with curiosity, calmly exploring the surroundings. From time to time, he looks back - as if making sure that the person on the other end of the leash is still by his side and that he can count on their support. He approaches people cautiously, but quickly reduces the distance. He would most like to sit down together, watching the world and resting from the noise of the shelter. The dogs he meets pass by calmly, checking the scents they left behind with interest. Although he has been with us for a short time, he has already stolen the hearts of many volunteers. Will he steal yours too?

Elmo nie miał dotąd w życiu szczęścia do ludzi. Nie wiemy, co sprawiło, że pewnego listopadowego dnia został znaleziony na Mokotowie. Wszystko jednak wskazuje na to, że kiedyś miał dom. Elmo pięknie chodzi na smyczy. Lubi trzymać się blisko człowieka, ale z ciekawością rusza też przed siebie, spokojnie eksplorując otoczenie. Co jakiś czas ogląda się za siebie — jakby upewniał się, że człowiek po drugiej stronie smyczy wciąż jest obok i że może liczyć na jego wsparcie. Do ludzi podchodzi ostrożnie, jednak szybko skraca dystans. Najchętniej usiadłby razem, obserwując świat i odpoczywając od schroniskowego hałasu. Spotykane psy mija ze spokojem, z zaciekawieniem sprawdzając zapachy, które po sobie zostawiły. Choć jest z nami krótko, już zdążył skraść serca wielu wolontariuszy. Czy skradnie również Twoje?
