Adotar Fanny Jagdterrier

Raça mista · Fêmea · Filhote · 6 meses

Tradução disponível em breve.

(With video) Little Fanny was found in the fields around Cordoba along with her sister Mariola and their mom. Completely frightened and insecure, the mom allowed herself and her two daughters to be taken into care. Now at the shelter, they can finally settle in, receive loving care, and enjoy good food. The puppies had been left to fend for themselves with their mother, so Fanny primarily learned that humans are not kind and loving. Fanny is very insecure and tends to freeze up when touched; she mirrors the many fears of her equally anxious mom and sister. Her behavior is not that of a carefree puppy who immediately starts playing and, above all, wants to explore the world. Fanny first needs to learn what a normal life in a family is like—how to cope with environmental stimuli such as traffic, noise, and the many people one encounters during walks. It’s therefore really important that these two girls leave the shelter as soon as possible so they can develop positively, explore the world, and lead a safe and protected life. The Dachshund (dad) and Jagdterrier traits are combined in these two girls, and it’s important to be aware of this—even though Fanny and her sister will remain small. With lots of love and patience, they’ll grow into little personalities, ideally shedding their insecurities and discovering their curiosity and urge to explore. Then they’ll start doing all the silly things that every normal puppy does when they begin exploring the world. Also, these two girls aren’t yet house-trained; they can’t be left alone. It would be beneficial for both Fanny and her sister Mariola if there were already a friendly and confident companion animal in their new home, as this would make things much easier for them, since the two girls could learn a lot from each other. Born: April 28, 2026; Size: small and likely to stay small; Weight: to be confirmed; Character: insecure, reserved; Gets along well with other dogs; In the shelter since July 2026. Fanny and Mariola will not be rehomed together. Fanny will travel chipped, vaccinated, neutered at the appropriate age, and tested for all Mediterranean diseases. A blood test evaluating organ function will also be performed before departure. Fanny will be handed over with a safety harness.
