Francis is a sweet boy who doesn't push himself. He gets along well with small dogs and large dogs, regardless of gender. He often follows their lead. He knows babies and respects their space. I have two kittens running around. When he's in the crate, he reacts very calmly and neutrally, and just watches them run around. They've never been loose together. He does great in the crate. He knows the "crate" command very well, and he even listens when he doesn't always want to. He doesn't bark in the crate and keeps it clean. If he needs to go out to pee or drink water, he indicates this by cute whining sounds. Never by barking. He also does great with being left alone at home. This is always in the crate, of course. He can already stay alone for 6 hours. He walks well. After the initial excitement when we start the walk, he walks very calmly. He likes to meet other dogs up close, but doesn't overdo it if you just keep walking. He does great in the car and isn't stressed. He lets his nails be cut, ears cleaned, paws held, and teeth checked. Francis is sweet, calm, and doesn't push himself. He can keep himself busy by playing alone in the garden, for example.

Francis is een lieve jongen, die zich niet opdringt. Hij kan goed met kleine hondjes en grote honden, ongeacht het geslacht. Hij volgt vaak hun voorbeeld. Hij kent baby’s en respecteert hun ruimte. Commando “bench” kent hij heel goed, en hij luistert zelfs als hij niet altijd wil. Hij blaft niet in de bench en houdt het proper. Als hij eruit wil om een plasje te doen of water te drinken, duidt hij dit aan door schattige jankgeluidjes. Nooit door te blaffen. Alleen thuisblijven doet hij ook supergoed. Dit steeds in de bench natuurlijk. Hij kan al flink 6 uur alleen blijven. Wandelen doet hij al goed. Buiten de initiële opwinding als we aan de wandeling beginnen, loopt hij heel rustig. Andere honden wil hij graag eens van dichterbij ontmoeten, maar overdrijft hier niet in als je gewoon zelf doorloopt. Hij doet het supergoed in de auto en is niet gestresst. Nageltjes knippen, oren proper maken, poten vastnemen, tanden nakijken laat hij allemaal toe. Francis is lief, rustig en dringt zich niet op. Hij kan zijn eigen bezighouden door alleen in de tuin te spelen bijvoorbeeld.
