Meet this gorgeous girly Ginger! When Ginger first came into our care she was very nervous, but with patience, kindness, and support from our staff, she has made lovely progress and is slowly learning that the world isn’t such a scary place after all. New people, places and noises can make her a little unsure so we feel she is in need of a quieter and less busy household with someone who is willing to take that extra time to get to know her and give her the time that she needs to feel safe. Ginger is especially nervous of men. Because of this, Ginger will need several meets with her potential adopters to help her feel comfortable and build a trusting bond. Once she feels comfortable it’s like watching a completely different dog, her true personality really shines, she’s playful, super silly, full of energy and LOVES a kiss and a cuddle! Ginger is a real foodie and will do most things for a treat (especially a carrot!) she has also mastered the puppy eyes which she will use against you with every snack or meal you eat! She a really curious girl on her walks, she’s loves exploring what nature has to offer and stopping to sniff every new smell she can!
