Gorgeous George é um coelho macho de 15 meses que chegou até nós quando seu dono não pôde mais cuidar dele. Inicialmente nervoso, mas agora o George está ganhando confiança. Ele corre para saudar as pessoas e, uma vez que se sinta confortável com você, permite que você o acaricie. Como ele é albino, sua visão não é muito boa, então ele se assusta com movimentos repentinos e pode dar coices. Ele gosta do seu próprio espaço, mas esperamos que após se ligar a outro coelho ele ganhe confiança. Nós estamos idealmente procurando por um lar em casa, pois o Gorgeous George está acostumado a ficar dentro. Ele precisará ser combinado com uma fêmea esterilizada existente e idealmente os adotantes terão experiência com combinações. Ele é um coelho teimoso com um grande caráter, então será um pouco desafiador no início. Se ele sentir que você ultrapassou um limite, ele já foi conhecido por fazer pequenas birras e às vezes joga seus brinquedos! Gorgeous George is a 15 month old male rabbit that came in to us when his owner could no longer care for him. George was initially a nervous boy, but now George has gained a lot of confidence. He has spent about a month in a foster home, and he has shown he has a very sweet nature – he will run over to greet his carers and will sit up once he is familiar with you and will allow you to stroke him (and hope for treats!). He will hopefully further gain his confidence after being bonded with another rabbit. George is a very clean boy in his pen – almost entirely using his tray for toileting. He keeps himself entertained playing with his toys and ripping up cardboard boxes and needs to be provided with new enrichment items regularly. He also loves to seek out treats which have been hidden for him. As he is an albino, his vision isn’t the best so he get spooked by sudden movements and may thump. We are ideally looking for an indoor home as Gorgeous George is used to being inside. He will need to be bonded with an existing neutered female and ideally the adopters will have experience of bonding, or can be advised by a reputable bonding service.
