But her greatest strength is that she is so curious and wants to learn everything. Even though her possible herding dog traits are only a guess, Hazel has the characteristics of an active dog. This means: You should prepare yourself for both mental and physical exertion. Activities like agility or tracking, but also simple search games and long walks can suit her well. For our little heartbreaker Hazel, we are looking for patient and loving people who will give her the time to settle in and then raise her with much affection and loving consistency. Mit ihren süßen Knicköhrchen und einem Herzen aus Gold wickelt die kleine „Bärin“ jeden um den Finger. Mit ihren 37 cm und 8 kg ist sie momentan noch klein, aber sie wird voraussichtlich mittelgroß werden. Bei Hazel könnte es sich um einen Hütehund-Mix handeln. Hazel ist am Anfang noch etwas schüchtern. Aber keine Sorge, sie taut schnell auf. Dann liebt sie es, gestreichelt und bekuschelt zu werden. Sie ist neugierig und erkundet ihre Umgebung mit wachsamen Äuglein. Mit anderen Hunden kommt sie super klar, ob das auch für Katzen gilt, wissen wir nicht. Wie alle Welpen braucht auch Hazel noch ganz viel liebevolle Erziehung. Stubenreinheit, Leinenführigkeit und die grundlegenden Kommandos muss sie noch lernen. Aber ihre größte Stärke ist, dass sie so neugierig ist und alles lernen will. Auch wenn mögliche Hütehundeigenschaften nur eine Vermutung sind, hat Hazel die Eigenschaften eines aktiven Hundes. Das bedeutet: Du solltest dich darauf einstellen, dass sie sowohl geistige als auch körperliche Auslastung braucht. Hundesportarten wie Agility oder Mantrailing, aber auch einfache Suchspiele und lange Spaziergänge können sie gut auslasten. Für unsere kleine Herzenbrecherin Hazel suchen wir geduldige und liebevolle Menschen, die sie in Ruhe ankommen lassen und sie dann mit viel Zuneigung und liebevoller Konsequenz erziehen. Da neue Situationen sie manchmal noch ein wenig unsicher machen, ist es wichtig, ihr die nötige Zeit zu geben, sich einzugewöhnen. Die Pubertät wird auch bei ihr eine lustige Herausforderung, etwa ab dem sechsten Lebensmonat kann sie Gelerntes „plötzlich“ vergessen und ihre Grenzen austesten.
