🐾 Meet Jake – Looking for His Forever Home 🐾 Everyone meet Jake, our handsome 12 year-old Akita cross and one of the loveliest older gentlemen you could wish to meet. ❤️ Jake has been with us since February 2026, and while he was originally enjoying life in Heather House for our older dogs, we’ve quickly realised that this boy still has a huge zest for life! Jake absolutely loves his walks and gets so excited when the volunteers arrive. He’s always ready and waiting to be taken out, and it’s almost impossible not to choose Jake first when you see how happy he is! 🥰 Once his walk is over, Jake is more than happy to settle down in his bed for a lovely snooze. But what he really wants is a bed — or even better, a sofa — of his very own in a forever home where he can be thoroughly spoiled. Jake is: 🐾 A lovely-natured, affectionate boy ❤️ A huge fan of cuddles 🚶♂️ Still enjoys his walks and getting out and about 😴 Equally happy settling down for a good sleep afterwards 🥰 Always delighted to see his favourite people We feel Jake would be best suited to a quiet home, with children 14+ who understand that although he still has plenty of life and enthusiasm, he’s an older gentleman and isn’t quite as active as he once was. Jake has waited long enough for his happily ever after. All he needs now is someone who will give him a warm bed, plenty of love, lots of cuddles and the retirement he truly deserves. 🏡❤️ Could you be the person to give Jake his forever home? 🐾
