Jax, a long-legged and athletic puppy, hopes for his big break. Jax and his three siblings were simply abandoned as puppies. They were lucky, found, and spent their first weeks in a foster home to have better chances of survival. All four fur babies made it. But this first bit of luck comes with a big "but"... now he searches the yard for his people, to learn what a real puppy life is like. On-site, there's no time to get to know the individual animals. So far, Jax has grown up without a familiar person. His daily routine: noise, stench, chaos, and always the same... At the yard fence, all people are greeted with enthusiasm: finally some variety to the dreary everyday life. Jax has made great progress and now allows himself to be touched and loves the attention from us humans. New experiences initially unsettle him, but that fades after a short time. It's really high time that Jax can leave the dreary shelter life behind. He's a young puppy who finally wants to discover the big, wide world. Jax is very compatible with his fellow animals, and his dog buddies give him a lot of support and encouragement to be curious outside the yard. A confident, only dog in the family would certainly help him build trust faster and settle into his new life, but that's not a prerequisite. Jax needs loving and patient people, but if there's already a dog in the family, Jax would surely be happy to join, though that's not a must. He must be able to arrive in his own time and at his own pace, without expectations from his people. New smells and sounds, separated from his siblings by people who are unfamiliar to him – all of this must be processed first. Gaining trust, learning to know the people as friends and supporters, and taking small steps toward a relaxed puppy life – this may take some time. When the puppy is ready, dog training classes will surely be fun. Physical and mental stimulation, learning to be a dog one-on-one with positive reinforcement and probably lots of treats. Sniffing the fields, always aware of his people by his side. This will be a big step for him. Jax is currently around 3.5 years old and has a shoulder height of about 55 cm, making him a medium-sized dog. The right people will win a wonderful, furry companion with empathy, love, and a lot of patience. Our Jax is neutered, microchipped, vaccinated, dewormed, and flea-treated. Seine Geschichte: Als Welpe überlebt, um die Jugend im Tierheim eingesperrt zu sein? Jax, ein langbeiniger und sportlicher Hundebub hofft auf seinen Jackpot. Jax und seine drei Geschwister wurden als Welpen einfach ausgesetzt. Sie hatten Glück, wurden gefunden und durften, um bessere Überlebenschancen zu haben, die ersten Wochen in einer Pflegestelle unterkommen. Alle vier Fellnasen haben es geschafft. Doch dieses erste Glück hat ein dickes „Aber“… jetzt sucht er im Zwinger lebend seine Menschen, um ein richtiges Hundeleben kennen lernen zu dürfen. Vor Ort ist keine Zeit sich mit den einzelnen Tieren zu beschäftigen. So ist Jax bisher ohne einen vertrauten Menschen aufgewachsen. Sein Alltag: Lärm, Gestank, Unruhe und immer das Gleiche… Am Zwingergitter werden alle Menschen stürmisch begrüßt: Endlich Abwechslung zum tristen Alltag. Jax hat ganz große Fortschritte gemacht und lässt sich mittlerweile gerne anfassen und liebt die Aufmerksamkeit von uns Menschen. Neues verunsichert ihn anfänglich noch, aber auch das lässt nach kurzer Zeit nach. Es wird wirklich höchste Zeit, das Jax bald den tristen Shelter Alltag hinter sich lassen kann. Es ist ein junger Hund, der endlich die große, weite Welt entdecken will. Jax ist sehr verträglich mit seinen Artgenossen und seine Hundekumpels geben ihm auch außerhalb des Zwingers großen Halt und unterstützen ihn neugierig zu sein. Ein souveräner Ersthund in der Familie würde ihm sicherlich helfen schneller Vertrauen zu fassen und in seinem neuen Leben anzukommen, ist aber keine Voraussetzung. Jax braucht liebevolle und geduldige Menschen, sofern bereits ein Hund in der Familie ist, würde Jax sich sicher freuen, dies ist aber kein Muss. Er muss in Ruhe und in seinem Tempo ankommen können, ohne Erwartungen von seinen Menschen. Neue Gerüche und Geräusche, getrennt von seinen Geschwistern bei Menschen die ihm fremd sind – all das muss erst einmal verarbeitet werden. Vertrauen gewinnen, den Menschen als Freund und Unterstützer kennenlernen und mit kleinen Schritten Richtung entspanntes Hundeleben steuern – das mag einige Zeit in Anspruch nehmen. Wenn der Bub soweit ist, wird eine Hundeschule sicher seinen Spaß bringen. Auslastung von Kopf und Körper, das Hunde 1×1 mit positiver Verstärkung und vermutlich vielen Leckerlies lernen. Über Wiesen schnüffeln immer im Bewusstsein, seine Menschen an seiner Seite zu wissen. Das wird ein großer Schritt für ihn sein. Jax ist aktuell ca. 3,5 Jahre alt und hat mit ca. 55 cm Schulterhöhe eine mittelgroße Größe. Die richtigen Menschen werden mit Empathie, Liebe und viel Geduld einen tollen, felligen Begleiter gewinnen. Unser Jax ist kastriert, gechipt, geimpft, entwurmt und entfloht.
