Jefry ist nur auf dem Papier 13 Jahre alt. Als eine Art „Bademeister“ hat er das Bachufer stets fest im Griff und ist draussen aufmerksam und aktiv unterwegs. So wie es sich für einen Podenco gehört. Manchmal meldet sich Jefry mit einem Bellen, wenn er auf etwas aufmerksam machen möchte. Dabei zeigt er sich insgesamt als sozialer und angenehmer Begleiter, sowohl mit Menschen als auch mit anderen Hunden. Besonders herzerwärmend ist seine sensible Art im Umgang mit Menschen. Jefry liebt Streicheleinheiten, drängt sich dabei aber nie auf. Er steht in der zweiten Reihe und wartet geduldig bis er an der Reihe ist. Jefry wurde positiv auf Leishmaniose getestet und erhält entsprechend Medikamente. Das beeinträchtigt ihn in keinster Weise. Magda gibt dazu gerne weitere Informationen.
