Our beautiful old ladies, Dequiqa and Jingle, are running free together over the rainbow bridge. Free from arthritis pains and past trauma. Free to be together forever. These beautiful old ladies found each other here, bonded over their past of neglect and abuse. They found themselves together to share 2 years of happiness and peace. 2 years to be a horse. They shared every moment together and were so in love. It was beautiful. Both of our old ladies were in their mid 30's and it was their time to go. With dignity and respect. However it never gets any easier. But as we question the hardest decision of "is it the right time" we remember that we gave them the best time of their lives. And the last gift we can give them is to leave this world together and pain free. Slide across to see some of their happy moments together here at the finca. We can celebrate the good times. Unfortunately on top of the difficult decision and painful goodbyes, the hole they have left in their paddocks. We sadly also have a bill of nearly 760€ to send these girls away dignifiedly. Each "last act of kindness" costs us around €400. So if you could donate to this sad cause we would be very grateful.
