Kanga Roo came into the care of RSPCA Bluebell Ridge from a multi-cat household with over 25 cats. After living in such a busy environment, it’s no surprise that she finds the cattery a little overwhelming. Right now, her favourite place is tucked away safely in her box, where the world feels a little less scary. But we know there’s so much more to this lovely girl than what we see today. Kanga Roo doesn’t need someone to expect confidence from day one. She needs someone who understands that trust takes time. A quiet, calm home where she can settle at her own pace, with plenty of patience, love and reassurance, will help her realise that she is finally safe. The most rewarding adoptions are often the ones where you earn a shy cat’s trust. The first little blink, the first gentle head bump, the first time they choose to curl up beside you—those moments are truly priceless.
