Therefore, he had hardly had the chance to learn what a normal dog life is like. He has shown a wonderful development with us. While he was very reserved and anxious at first, he now likes to cuddle and is happy to see visitors. He warms up to women faster, but with men, he is more skeptical, tries to bark first, and needs a moment longer. With treats, Karamell can be coaxed and comes over. With different handling, dog encounters are possible during walks, but often he reacts. Then one must be persistent and hold him. As a second dog, he is not suitable. He has several poorly healed bone fractures, so long walks are not possible, but he enjoys shorter rounds. The new home should ideally be ground-level and without stairs. He has not been kept in the house so far, so house training is certainly a topic at the beginning. Children should, if at all, be older. He prefers it when someone approaches him quietly. Too much commotion is not to his liking. For this reason, however, he is often still very playful, almost puppy-like, and in the company of others, he really puts everyone in a good mood. Demnach hatte er leider bisher kaum die Chance, ein normales Hundeleben kennenzulernen.Er hat eine ganz tolle Entwicklung bei uns gezeigt. War er anfangs sehr zurückhaltend und ängstlich, so lässt er sich jetzt gerne kuscheln und freut sich über Besuch. Bei Frauen taut er schneller auf, bei Männern ist er eher skeptisch, versucht erstmal zu verbellen und braucht einen Moment länger. Mit Leckerlie lässt Karamell sich etwas bestechen und kommt heran. Bei souveränder Führung sind Hundebegegnungen beim Gassigehen machbar, oft reagiert er aber. Dann muss man standhaft sein, ihn zu halten. Als Zweithund ist er also nicht geeignet.Er hat mehrere schlecht verheilte Knochenbrüche, es sind also keine super langen Spaziergänge möglich, kleinere Runden genießt er. Das neue zu Hause ist also im Idealfall ebenerdig und ohne Treppen. Er wurde bislang nicht im Haus gehalten, also ist die Stubenreinheit hier sicherlich am Anfang ein Thema. Kinder sollten, wenn überhaupt, schon älter sein. Er bevorzugt es, wenn jmd. ruhig auf ihn zugeht. Zu viel Trubel mag er nicht so.Dafür ist er allerdings oft noch sehr verspielt, fast welpenartig und macht im Zusammensein richtig gute Laune.Karamell ist ein absolutes Schätzchen und wird eine große Bereicherung für die Familie.Karamell05.2025.
