Katrina, a social but anxious female dog, was born around 2018, is approximately 55 cm tall, and has been at the shelter since 2018. She came to Maria as a puppy with her mother and siblings Jinny and Kyrill and has not had a chance at a home since. She is very social but has not had much human contact, so she is reserved and anxious. Unfortunately, her mother died at the shelter, and we hope her siblings do not suffer the same fate. Katrina is very attached to Jinny and Kyrill and can only be adopted with them. We are looking for a home for her with empathetic and experienced people who can show her what a good dog life is like in peace and without pressure or expectations. It should be okay if she never wants to go for walks or cuddle like normal dogs. Maybe they will be good for one or two positive surprises. A securely fenced garden with direct access to the house is a basic requirement. We are aware that the chances are very low for three large, anxious dogs, so we would be very happy if someone takes on a sponsorship. Currently in Romania and allowed to travel if a home is found. Travels chipped and vaccinated (EU vaccination passport; vaccinations: rabies and basic immunization). All dogs are treated against intestinal parasites and ectoparasites at the shelter and at least once a year thereafter. The described behavioral observations are based on everyday life at the shelter and may be different in a domestic environment under changed living conditions. Sie ist eine sehr soziale Hündin, die jedoch noch nicht allzu viel Menschenkontakt hatte. Daher ist sie zurückhaltend und ängstlich, an Streicheleinheiten ist momentan nicht zu denken. Leider ist ihre Mutter im Shelter verstorben, für die Geschwister wünschen wir uns sehr, dass ihnen dieses Schicksal erspart bleibt. Katrina hängt sehr an Jinny und Kyrill und kann daher nur mit ihnen zusammen vermittelt werden. Wir wünschen uns für sie ein Zuhause bei einfühlsamen und erfahrenen Menschen, die ihnen in Ruhe und ohne Zeitdruck oder Erwartungshaltung zeigen, was ein gutes Hundeleben ist. Es sollte okay sein, wenn sie nie wie normale Hunde Gassi gehen oder kuscheln wollen. Vielleicht sind sie dann für die eine oder andere positive Überraschung gut. Ein sicher eingezäunter Garten mit direktem Zugang zum Haus ist Grundvoraussetzung. Uns ist bewusst, dass für drei große, ängstliche Hunde die Chancen sehr schlecht stehen, daher würden wir uns sehr freuen wenn jemand eine Patenschaft übernimmt. Befindet sich aktuell in Rumänien und darf ausreisen, wenn sie ein Zuhause gefunden hat. Reist gechipt und geimpft (EU Impfpass; Impfungen: Tollwut und Grundimmunisierung). Alle Hunde werden bei ihrer Ankunft im Shelter sowie anschließend mindestens einmal jährlich gegen Darmparasiten und Ektoparasiten behandelt. Die geschilderten Verhaltensbeobachtungen basieren auf dem Alltag im Shelter und können sich in einem häuslichen Umfeld unter veränderten Lebensbedingungen entsprechend anders darstellen.
