Kelly está em lar temporário há cerca de um ano. Para ser sincero, ela precisou de tempo para se adaptar, fazer alguns tratamentos médicos e se sentir à vontade na vida em família, e agora está mais do que pronta para ter os seus próprios humanos. A família que a acolhe vai viajar para fora no verão, por isso seria maravilhoso encontrar um lar definitivo para ela até junho. A Kelly viveu num mundo muito pequeno e teve uma vida difícil antes de entrar na ADL, mas desde que chegou descobriu o conforto de viver em casa. Ela desabrochou e se soltou muito nesse tempo, aproveitando um pouco de luxo na vida. Tem cerca de 6 a 8 anos, é ativa e saudável, e vai se dar bem em um lar rural, semirrural ou suburbano mais tranquilo. A Kelly é uma companheira adorável e gentil, adequada a diversos tipos de família com adultos. Como todos os cães novos, a Kelly vai precisar de algum tempo para se acostumar e se sentir confortável no novo ambiente, e nós daremos apoio à sua nova família. Quando estiver pronta, ela gosta de passeios tranquilos e saídas por parques locais, campos e lugares mais calmos. Ela consegue passar por outros cães, pessoas e trânsito sem se incomodar, e vai gostar de observar com calma os pássaros e os esquilos da região. Em casa, a Kelly é limpa e tranquila, adora a sua comida e é uma grande apreciadora de cuddles no sofá… então vais precisar arranjar espaço para ela ao seu lado! A Kelly pode viver como cão único ou com outro cão adulto, calmo e tranquilo, que cuide da sua vida como ela faz. Ela está em lar temporário com dois cães pequenos e se dá bem com ambos. Kelly has been in foster now for about a year. Truth be told, she needed some time to find her feet, have some medical work done & get comfortable with family life and now she is more than ready for her own humans. Her foster family are heading away for the summer so it would be amazing if we could fine her forever home by June. Kelly lived in a very small world & had a tough life before joining ADL but since arriving she has discovered the comforts of home living. She has blossomed & really come out of her shell in that time, enjoying a little luxury in her life. She is about 6-8 years, is fit & healthy & will do well in a rural, semi-rural or mature-suburban home. Kelly is a lovely & gentle companion, suiting a range of family-types with grown ups. Kelly, like all new dogs, will take some time to settle in and develop comfort in her new surroundings., & we will support her new family. Once she’s ready, she likes pottering walks & outings around local parks, fields & quieter spots. She can pass other dogs, people, traffic without a bother & will enjoy a wee gentle stalk of the local birds and squirrels. At home, Kelly is clean & quiet, loves her grub & is a big-time sofa cuddler…so you’ll need to make room for her beside you! Kelly could live as an only dog or with another mature, calm dog who essentially goes about their business like she does (she is in foster with two small dogs and gets on well with both). No cats or children for Kelly as the activity they bring would be too much for her. - quietish adult/big kids home - must have a suitable safe and secure garden - another similar, quiet and mature dog or no resident dog - much sofa cuddling and hanging out - when she's ready, a couple of short potters about in quiet-ish places - some time and patience to help her settle in - love for a gentle, sweet companion Dept of Ag.
