Gender: male Birthday: August 2022 Castrated/Neutered: yes Weight: 13.6kg (shoulder height about 35cm) Back story: Lakko was found in the mountains, all by himself in July 2025. Description/ Updates/ Pictures: Update August 2026: Lakko, aka Lakkolini, is the funniest dog at the shelter. He knows his name, always comes when you call him, and loves being the center of attention. Give him a few pool breaks between play sessions with Elphaba, and he’s one happy boy! Lakko is still learning that it's okay to slow down and relax sometimes, but he already has so much to offer. He’s fearless, walks well on a leash, and would make the perfect addition to any active family. Update December 2025: Lakko our personal whirlwind on four short legs. Long body, big energy and absolutely no concept of rest. He still has to learn what ‘calm’ even means. Truly one of the shelter’s most entertaining dogs- charming, affectionate, and always eager for human affection❤️ He gets along great with female dogs, with males it depends on sympathy. Right now he shares his pen with Dr. Dillamond, a funny odd duo. Lakko walks great on a leash and is ready for an own home. We are looking for an active household, one where he also can learn to settle down. He would also be perfectly happy as the only dog in the household. Update October 2025: Here comes Lakko! Short legs, long body- full of energy. Lakko just moved to the shelter and is super excited about all the new impressions. He walks well on the leash and he brings lots of fun. More info to follow!
