Lava é outra das nossas recentes chegadas – uma rapariga bonita que parece ser um cruzamento de pastor alemão. Na verdade, foi encontrada na base militar onde usam pastores alemães… teve um cão um filhote acidental e Lava foi o resultado? Quem sabe… De qualquer forma, se Lava não era desejada lá, ela é bem-vinda connosco! Lava é uma rapariga forte, que prefere brincar com os cães 'cool', como Noel, em vez de estar com as outras fêmeas. Por isso, se houver outro cão no futuro da sua casa, deve ser macho. Ela odeia gatos e não deve ser colocada com eles. Lava é uma rapariga forte e inteligente – e será um excelente cão para a família certa – uma família familiarizada com tipos de pastores alemães e que saiba treiná-la da maneira correta. Muito tristemente, Lava nunca encontrou a sua casa para sempre e faleceu no abrigo em janeiro de 2026.

Lava is another of our recent arrivals – a handsome girl that seems to be a German Shepherd mix. Actually, she was found at the military base where they use German Shepherds… did one of the dogs have an accidental litter and Lava was the result? Who knows… Anyway, if Lava was unwanted there, she is welcome with us! Lava is a tough girl, who prefers to play rough with the ‘cool’ male dogs, like Noel, rather than be with the other females. So if there is another dog in her future home, it should be male. She hates cats, and shouldn’t be homed with them. Lava is a strong and clever girl – and will be a wonderful dog for the right family – a family experienced with German Shepherd types and who know how to train her in the right way. Very sadly Lava never found her forever home and died at the shelter in January 2026
