Layla is looking for a loving, patient family who will give her time to settle and build her confidence. She may potentially be left alone for short periods, but this will need to be introduced gradually once she is settled in her new home, as she currently finds being left difficult. Layla would like to be the only dog in the home, although she could have canine walking friends. She could live with secondary school-aged children who understand the importance of giving her space when she needs it. With her affectionate nature, enthusiasm for life and love of both long walks and cuddles, Layla could be a wonderful companion for an active family looking for a loving girl to share their adventures with. Layla is a beautiful 4-year-old Staffordshire Bull Terrier who is an extremely loving, affectionate girl with plenty of energy to share. She is finding kennel life quite stressful and is always keen to get out and about. Once outside, Layla enjoys sniffing, exploring independently and taking in her surroundings, but she loves nothing more than returning to her carers for some fuss and attention. She is happy to explore new environments outdoors, although indoor spaces can feel a little more overwhelming for her, taking things slowly is the way forward. Layla is very happy to say hello to new people, and handling is going well with her carers, especially when she is in a space where she feels comfortable.
