Lena is a beautiful beagle who ended up in a shelter in central Serbia, where she was so severely underweight that she was literally skin and bones. We couldn’t turn a blind eye and leave her to waste away, so we took her to safety and gave her a chance at a fresh start. Now, the most important thing is for her to recover, regain her strength, and receive all the love and care she deserves. Lena didn’t deserve a story that began with suffering; she deserves one that continues with happiness. We are looking for a loving family who will show her that safety, kindness, and a forever home do exist – a home where she will never be forgotten again. “I have a noticeable scar above my right leg, a reminder of the difficult life I endured and the days I spent in the shelter! ”
