Limon was found on the land, wandering around without any identification. So he came to the shelter, and no one had missed him, nor was anyone asking about him. Limon is a beautiful Podenco, a very obedient and loving dog. He is well trained and well raised. Podencos are excellent hunters, working independently and using three senses: nose, eyes, and ears. Unlike the classic hunting dogs. But Limon shows no real hunting ambitions, which might be the reason for his leaving. One can only love Limon, so wonderful is Limon. He is friendly with other dogs, and even larger children are welcome. We are looking for a home, with lots of love and patience, because Limon must first learn our life. Such a life in a family, in the city, is foreign to him. We are convinced that he will learn it. Update August 2025: Limon is a very special dog – sensitive, clever, and incredibly people-oriented. He loves being in company, is happy to see every person, regardless of age, and enjoys cuddle moments very much. Gets along with other dogs.

Limon wurde auf dem Land aufgegriffen, er strolchte umher ohne irgendwelche Identifikation. So kam er ins Refugium, keiner hat ihn vermisst, noch wurde nachgefragt. Limon ist ein wunderschöner Podenco, ein sehr folgsamer und lieber Hund. Er ist gut trainiert und erzogen. Podencos sind ausgezeichnete Jäger, sie arbeiten selbstständig und jagen mit drei Sinnen: Nase, Augen, Ohren. Anders als die klassischen Windhunde. Aber Limon zeigt keine wirkliche Jagdambitionen, das ist vielleicht der Grund seines Verlassens. Man kann ihn nur liebhaben, so großartig ist Limon. Verträglich mit Hunden, auch größere Kinder sind willkommen. Wir suchen ein zu Hause, mit viel Liebe und Geduld, denn Limon muss unser Leben erst kennenlernen. So ein Leben in Familie, in der Stadt ist ihm fremd. Das wird er lernen, davon sind wir überzeugt. Update August 2025: Limon ist ein ganz besonderer Hund – sensibel, klug und unglaublich menschenbezogen. Er liebt es, in Gesellschaft zu sein, freut sich über jeden Menschen, egal welchen Alters, und genießt gemeinsame Kuschelmomente sehr. In seiner Pflegestelle hat er sogar schon das Leben in einer Ergotherapiepraxis kennengelernt, wo er alle Patienten freundlich begrü
