Lincoln is looking for a loving home with adopters who are happy to help him master some basic training, including housetraining, as he settles into life in a home. He can be left alone for a few hours once he has settled in. Lincoln loves playing with toys and discovering new places, so he’d enjoy a home where he can have fun, explore and enjoy all the little things life has to offer. He will make a great easygoing companion for his new family. Lincoln is a 4-year-old greyhound with a lovely nature who enjoys meeting new people, although he can be a little bouncy and excitable when saying hello! He loves being around people and will happily lean in for a fuss. Lincoln is confident meeting other dogs and is happy to mooch about with dogs of a similar size, although he can feel worried around those who are very excitable. As an ex-racer, Lincoln does have a prey drive and may chase anything small and fluffy, so he cannot live with cats or small furries. He could potentially share his home with another sighthound or large-breed dog (neutered if female), pending a successful mix at the centre, and secondary school-aged children. Lincoln enjoys exploring new places and having little adventures, but he’s equally happy to head home for a well-deserved nap afterwards!
