Meet Lola – our very own baby hippopotamus! Lola is an absolutely fabulous girl. She may not be very big in size, but she’s muscly, chunky and full of personality. She’s strong on the lead and can be quite bouncy and excitable to begin with, but after a good 10-minute run about, she settles beautifully and is ready to head off on her walks and adventures. Lola has been brilliant with everyone she has met and absolutely loves being part of the action. She doesn’t pay much attention to other dogs and is quite happy to ignore them, so she could happily live as an only dog, which is what she has been used to previously. She is excellent with children, but because of her enthusiastic and bouncy nature, we feel she would be best suited to a home with dog-savvy children aged 10 and over who understand that sometimes this lovely girl forgets just how strong she is. Lola is fun-loving, affectionate and full of character. If you’re looking for a loyal companion who enjoys her adventures just as much as curling up afterwards, Lola could be the perfect addition to your family.
