Meet Luna Luna is a beautiful 5-year-old Lurcher who is a truly lovely, sweet and gentle girl. She can be a little nervous when she first meets people or finds herself in unfamiliar situations, but underneath that initial uncertainty is a kind and affectionate girl who is just waiting to learn that the world can be a safe and happy place. Luna enjoys getting out for walks and walks nicely on the lead. However, loud noises and unfamiliar sights or situations can sometimes unsettle her, so she will need a calm, patient and understanding owner who is willing to take things at her pace and help her gradually build her confidence. We believe Luna has had a difficult start in life, and it’s clear that she hasn’t always had the security and reassurance she deserves. Despite this, she remains such a gentle, loving and affectionate girl. With the right person by her side, we know Luna can learn to relax, feel safe and discover all the joys that life has to offer. Luna would be best suited to a quiet, peaceful home where she can have the time and space she needs to settle. We feel she would be happiest without young children or other dogs, allowing her to concentrate on building her confidence and forming a strong bond with her new family. Luna doesn’t need a busy household or a life full of excitement — she simply needs someone kind, patient and committed to showing her that she is safe, loved and finally home.
