Maïako is a gentle, calm, and friendly cat with soft silk-like fur. She enjoys being petted under her neck but prefers to keep her distance from humans, except for snuggling with her favorite pyjama when she needs reassurance. She is submissive to all animals, both cats and dogs, and will share her food with them. Maïako is slow but playful. She can live in an apartment with a secure balcony or terrace and enjoys spending time outdoors. She needs a calm, gentle, and patient family with no other pets or young children. You can pay this in one or two cheques. Please bring ID and proof of address. Adoption will be subject to an adoption contract and a certificate of commitment, which is included in the "How to welcome and understand her" guide. This certificate commits the adopter to properly caring for the animal. We reserve the right to visit the cat, as stated in the contract. Adoption should be a well-considered decision, not an impulsive one. It is a lifelong commitment that involves not only the costs of food and veterinary care but also the arrangements for your pet's care during your extended trips or holidays. SAINT-JULIEN-LES-ROSIERS (5 km d’Alès) – Maïako a le poil doux comme de la soie. Elle est douce, calme et gentille. Elle apprécie les caresses sous le cou, mais elle aime rester à distance de l’humain, sauf pour téter son pyjama quand elle a besoin d’être rassurée. Elle est soumise à tous les animaux, chats et chiens, et leur laisse manger sa nourriture. Elle est lente, mais joueuse. Maïako peut vivre en appartement avec un balcon ou une terrasse sécurisée. Elle aime prendre l’air. Il lui faudra une famille calme, douce et patiente, sans autre animal ni enfant en bas âge. Il faut penser aux frais, tant alimentaires que vétérinaires, qu’un tel engagement engendre, mais aussi au mode de garde lors de vos longs déplacements ou vacances.
