Marley entrou no centro devido a uma mudança nas circunstâncias dos seus antigos donos. Quando Marley chegou, estava bastante tímida e costumava ficar escondida no fundo da sua gaiola. Após algum tempo no cativeiro, decidimos dar-lhe uma pausa à vida no cativeiro e colocá-la em um lar temporário local. Desde que se adaptou ao seu lar temporário, o caráter carinhoso de Marley floresceu. Agora gosta de estar perto da sua família temporária e aprecia muito atenção e cuidados. Dito isto, Marley é confiante ao estabelecer os seus limites e não tem medo de lhes dizer quando já teve suficiente. Quando não está a receber atenção, Marley pode normalmente ser encontrada estendida num local quente e ensolarado ou felizmente a brincar com diversos dos seus brinquedos. Marley tem recebido tratamento para alopecia e alguma inflamação em redor dos olhos. Com a ajuda de uma dose baixa de esteróides, a pele dela tem melhorado bem. Este medicamento terá de continuar, a menos que seja recomendado o contrário por um veterinário, e a filial apoiará com financiamento para isso. Marley procura um lar tranquilo e paciente onde possa ter o espaço e o tempo que necessita para relaxar completamente e estamos certos de que o seu lado carinhoso irá mostrar-se em breve. Marley came into the centre due to a change in circumstances for her previous owners. When Marley first arrived, she was quite shy and often kept herself tucked away at the back of her pen. After some time in the cattery, we decided to give her a break from cattery life and placed her in a local foster home. Since settling into her foster home, Marley’s affectionate personality has blossomed. She now loves being close to her foster family and enjoys plenty of attention and fuss. That said, Marley is confident in setting her boundaries and isn’t afraid to let them know when she’s had enough. When she’s not soaking up attention, Marley can usually be found stretched out in a warm, sunny spot or happily playing with a variety of her toys. Marley has been receiving treatment for alopecia and some inflammation around her eyes. With the help of a low dose of steroids, her skin has been improving well. This medication will need to continue unless advised otherwise by a vet, and the branch will support with funding for this. Marley is looking for a calm, patient home where she can have the space and time she needs to fully relax and we’re sure her affectionate side will soon show. Do you have the right home for Marley?
