About MaxMax came to the centre as an unclaimed stray via the local stray dog service so very little is known of his past. Max was in a bit of a sorry state when he first arrived, he was subdued, underweight and just a little run down. With good food, vet care and TLC Max has improved no end and is now ready to find himself a loving new home. Max is a very sweet boy who loves affection, he is a cheeky boy who keeps us all entertained with his quirky character, he is now a happy go lucky lad who just wants to be loved. We believe Max has lived quite a sheltered life before he came to the centre and more than likely never lived in a home, he will need patient adopters who will help him overcome any insecurities he may have. Max is undergoing some training and working alongside the centres behaviourist as he can become a little frustrated on the lead around other dogs. He is excelling in his training and has come a really long way, he has made some really good doggy friends at the centre and gets ever so excited when he meets up with them. Max's adopters will need to carry on with his training after adoption, they will have the chance to have a session with the behaviourist before adoption to help the transition in to a new home successful. Max will need to be the only pet in the home and could live with children aged 10 years and over.
