Mayo was quite shy and reserved when she first arrived as a stray and would spend her time in her bed. With patience and love she has come out of her shell and her true happy personality is showing. She is now a very excitable girl who loves to greet everyone she meets. Mayo is a still a young dog that is after a family that is happy to put in the training and work she needs to become a great companion. She is going to need an active home and an enclosed garden so that she has plenty of opportunities to burn off all of her energy. Due to her being nervous her potential adopters may need to have multiple meets to ensure she is comfortable before going home. We believe that it is best for any children in the house to be over 12 years of age and dog savvy. This would also be subject to a successful meet.
