MAYO is a cat with a difficult past, arriving at our shelter after a stint in the pound. He has lived on the streets, without any sense of security or a family to rely on. Today, MAYO is slowly discovering the safety and gentleness of a stable environment. He is a very shy cat who will need time to adapt to his new life. He will require a patient, calm, and compassionate family ready to let him progress at his own pace and to offer him the trust he has never truly known. Despite his reserve around humans, MAYO is very sociable with other cats of the same species. The presence of another cat could indeed be a real plus to help him feel more secure and progress. With gentleness, respect, and lots of love, MAYO will gradually open up and reveal the beautiful personality that lies within him.

Mayo est un chat au passé difficile, arrivé chez nous après un passage en fourrière. Il a connu la vie dans la rue, sans repères ni famille sur qui compter. Aujourd’hui, Mayo découvre peu à peu la sécurité et la douceur d’un environnement stable. C’est un chat très timide, qui aura besoin de temps pour s’adapter à sa nouvelle vie. Il lui faudra une famille patiente, calme et bienveillante, prête à lui laisser avancer à son rythme et à lui offrir la confiance qu’il n’a jamais vraiment connue. Malgré sa réserve avec l’humain, Mayo est très sociable avec ses congénères. La présence d’un autre chat pourrait d’ailleurs être un vrai plus pour l’aider à se sentir rassuré et progresser. Avec de la douceur, du respect et beaucoup d’amour, Mayo pourra peu à peu s’ouvrir et révéler toute la belle personnalité qui sommeille en lui. Il mérite, lui aussi, de connaître enfin la chaleur d’un foyer pour la vie
