Mina is a sweet and beautiful cat (with two differently colored eyes) who is almost 3 years old. She’s looking for a calm home that understands her unique personality. Ideally, she’d find a place where she can enjoy outdoor access yet also have a cozy indoor space to retreat to when she needs it. Mina had a tough start as a kitten; her previous owner did everything possible to help her recover. Unfortunately, due to certain circumstances, she could no longer stay there. Mina sometimes tends to urinate outside the litter box out of frustration. She’s undergone a thorough medical check-up, and apart from bladder crystals, her health is completely fine. We’ve noticed that this behavior particularly occurs when she becomes very frustrated and can’t do what she’d really like to do—such as going freely outdoors. Therefore, we’re seeking a home for her where this behavior is understood and accepted—a home where she has 24/7 access to a garden or outdoor space, with no other pets or young children present. A place where she can simply be herself and doesn’t feel pressured to do anything; instead, she can make her own choices. It might also be an option for her to have free outdoor access while still being able to enjoy a warm indoor space. After all, Mina is just a very sweet and playful cat. She loves cuddling and snuggling. If you’re sitting quietly, she’ll happily come and lie on your lap. She’s not afraid of strangers and actually enjoys being petted by them too. For the rest of her life, Mina will need a special diet to manage her bladder crystals. This diet is Royal Canin Veterinary Urinary s/o. Fortunately, this food is only slightly more expensive than her regular food (Royal Canin Fit 32)*. In addition, she receives one tablet every other day to support her bladder health. It’s very easy to give her these tablets, and they cost about 6 euros per month.

Mina is een lief en mooi poesje (met twee verschillende kleuren ogen) van bijna 3 jaar oud. Ze zoekt een rustig thuis met begrip voor hoe ze is. Of een plek waar ze fijn naar buiten kan, maar ook beschut ergens binnen kan zitten. Mina heeft een zware start gehad als kitten, haar vorige eigenaar heeft haar er helemaal bovenop geholpen. Helaas kon ze vanwege omstandigheden daar niet meer blijven. Mina durft namelijk wel eens uit frustratie buiten te kattenbak te plassen. Ze is medisch helemaal nagekeken, afgezien van blaasgruis is ze medisch helemaal in orde. Wij merken hier dat ze dat gedrag vooral vertoont als ze erg gefrustreerd raakt en niet kan doen wat ze graag zou willen doen (zoals vrij naar buiten gaan). Wij zoeken daarom voor haar een thuis waar hier begrip voor is, waar ze 24/7 toegang heeft tot een tuin/naar buiten kan gaan, waar er geen andere huisdieren aanwezig zijn of jonge kinderen. Een plek waar ze gewoon zichzelf kan zijn en niets 'moet' doen, maar zelf kan kiezen. Een plek waar ze vrij naar buiten kan gaan, maar wel warm binnen kan zitten, zou misschien ook een optie voor haar zijn. Mina is namelijk ook gewoon een erg lieve en speelse poes. Ze houdt ervan om te knuffelen en te kroelen. Als je rustig zit, komt ze graag op schoot liggen. Voor vreemden is ze niet bang, daar wil ze ook best door geaaid worden. Voor haar blaasgruis zal zij de rest van haar leven dieetvoer nodig hebben. Dit is Royal Canin Veterinary Urinary s/o. Gelukkig is dit voer maar iets duurder dan het standaard voer (Royal Canin Fit 32)*. Tevens krijgt ze om de dag een tabletje om haar blaas te ondersteunen. Dit is heel makkelijk te geven aan haar en kost ongeveer 6 euro per maand.
