Her story: The beautiful Momo looks full of hope into the future. Her name comes from Japanese and means "peach." It stands for joy and happiness, and that's exactly what our little Momo wishes for her life: joy and loving people who take her by the paw and show her how wonderful the world can be. Momo and her siblings, Raven, Ezra, and Pinsel, were brought to the public shelter in Bistrita by the Dogcatchers. Now, Momo had the good fortune to be relocated to the Stray Nest in Rennertshofen, where she can be visited at any time. Although Momo is initially a bit shy, she quickly gains trust in the people around her. She loves to snuggle and play with the other puppies in the run. Momo is and likely a smart herding dog mix – a very special combination that requires a lot of finesse in training. Ideally, Momo's people should have a love for shared outings and adventures. She wishes for a rural home, preferably with a fenced-in yard. Small children should not live in the home, as this still unsettles her too much. Now, in this early phase, the most important thing is to give her a sense of security and trust. A young puppy needs gentle guidance. It's about showing her that the world is a good and safe place and that she can always rely on you. It's important to let her discover new things at her own pace. Momo looks forward to a clear daily routine and established routines in her new home. Generally, puppies and young dogs should not be left alone for as long as possible in their first year. When Momo enters puberty (typically between 7 and 18 months), it may seem as though the things you've patiently built up will be turned on their head again. With positive training and a good bond, you will emerge as a great human-dog team. Momo looks forward to beautiful walks, but also to head and nose work, such as search games, mantrailing, trail searches, or learning new commands. Momo is neutered, microchipped, vaccinated, dewormed, and treated for fleas and has her EU pet passport. Er steht für Freude und Fröhlichkeit, und genau das wünscht sich unsere kleine Momo vom Leben: Freude und liebevolle Menschen, die sie an die Pfote nehmen und ihr zeigen, wie schön die Welt sein kann. Momo und ihre Geschwister, Raven, Ezra und Pinsel, wurden von den Dogcatchern in das öffentliche Shelter von Bistrita gebracht. Jetzt hatte Momo das Glück, in das Streunernest in Rennertshofen auszureisen. Dort kann sie jederzeit besucht werden. Momo ist zwar anfangs etwas schüchtern, fasst aber dann schnell Vertrauen zu den Menschen in ihrer Nähe. Sie liebt es, zu kuscheln und mit den anderen Junghunden im Auslauf zu tollen. Momo ist und vermutlich ein kluger Hütehund-Mix – das ist eine ganz besondere Kombination, die in der Erziehung viel Feingefühl erfordert. Idealerweise sollten Momos Menschen Lust an gemeinsamen Ausflügen und Unternehmungen haben. Sie wünscht sich ein ländliches Zuhause, gerne mit eingezäuntem Garten. Kleine Kinder sollte nicht im Haushalt leben, da sie das noch zu sehr verunsichert. Jetzt, in dieser frühen Phase, ist das Allerwichtigste, ihr ein Gefühl von Sicherheit und Vertrauen zu geben. Ein Junghund benötigt eine sanfte Führung. Es geht darum, ihr zu zeigen, dass die Welt ein guter und sicherer Ort ist und dass sie sich immer auf dich verlassen kann. Wichtig ist, sie in ihrem Tempo neue Dinge entdecken zu lassen. Momo freut sich auf eine klare Tagesstruktur und feste Abläufe in ihrem neuen Zuhause. Generell sollten Welpen und Junghunde im ersten Lebensjahr so wenig wie möglich alleine bleiben. Wenn Momo in die Pubertät kommt (typischerweise zwischen 7 und 18 Monaten), kann es gut sein, dass die Dinge, die man so geduldig aufgebaut hat, scheinbar wieder auf den Kopf gestellt werden. Mit positivem Training und einer guten Bindung, wird man als tolles Mensch-Hunde-Paar aus dieser Phase hervorgehen. Momo freut sich auf schöne Spaziergänge, aber auch auf Kopf- und Nasenarbeit, wie z.B. Suchspiele, Mantrailing, Fährtensuche, oder das Erlernen neuer Kommandos. Momo ist kastriert, gechipt, geimpft, entwurmt und entfloht und hat ihren EU-Heimtierausweis. Nach positiver Vorkontrolle kann sie gegen eine Schutzgebühr von 500 Euro vermittelt werden.
