He is curious and brave, has no touch sensitivities, and stepped into the elevator in his foster home right away, always looking forward to meeting other dogs. He has already learned sit, stay, and shake! And on the side, he is already house-trained. And while learning new things with the dog trainer, he is having a lot of fun – and he especially loves the treats he gets as a reward. For Morris, he would do anything. Morris is a cheerful, open puppy. He is currently 5 months old and about 35 cm tall. It is likely that he will reach a medium size when he is fully grown. He also gets along well with children, and he even had contact with a cat and showed no signs of being upset. Morris is a mixed breed, we do not know his parents, but he could be a German Shepherd mix. German Shepherds are balanced, confident, and self-assured dogs. They get along well with fellow animals, but they would feel most comfortable as a single dog with a lot of attention from their owner. We wish for this wonderful puppy a home that appreciates his nature, his kindness, and his boundless trust. German Shepherds are loyal and faithful companions and require appropriate stimulation. In addition to appropriate physical exercise, head and thinking games should be part of his daily routine. Beautiful walks, interesting excursions, and especially lots of cuddles – that's what he dreams of. Since he is so cheerful and lively, his foster parents almost didn't notice that he has had a visual impairment since birth… When he goes back for his control visit in two months, we will check if everything is okay and if the eye drops are working. One thing is certain: he is not blind – and his little weakness has not only ensured that his other senses are much more pronounced, but it is also completely curable. In the first year of life, puppies should be as little alone as possible. Additionally, the more demanding pubertal phase is approaching. The hormone chaos turns the lives of these little rascals upside down. They "forget" a lot of what they have learned so far, and their ears are on high alert. Therefore, it is especially important to consistently – but lovingly – train during this phase. And there is also good news: this phase will pass! Until the control visit, he continues to play happily and explore this exciting and great new world. He comes to you microchipped, vaccinated, dewormed, and treated for fleas, like all our shelter animals. Seine Geschichte: Hier kommt Morris! Er hat die Herzen seiner Pflegeeltern im Sturm erobert! Er hat sie gleich bei der Abholung herzlich begrüßt und artig in die Transportbox gehüpft, weil er einfach nur dankbar war, nicht mehr auf der rumänischen Straße zu sein. Seine Pflegeeltern sagen, dass sie schon viele Welpen kennenlernen durften, aber so einen braven und lieben wie Morris selten. Ob das stimmt? Er ist neugierig und mutig, hat keine Berührungsängste und ist direkt in seinen Pflegezuhause in den Aufzug gestiegen und freut sich immer, wenn er andere Hunde begegnet. Sitz, Platz und Pfote hat er auch schon gelernt! Und ganz nebenbei ist er auch schon stubenrein. Und in den Stunden mit dem Hundetrainer lernt er ziemlich viel Neues – und es macht ihm richtig Spaß… vor allem liebt er aber die Leckerlis, die er zur Belohnung bekommt. Dafür würde Morris alles tun. Morris ist ein fröhlicher aufgeschlossener Welpe. Er ist aktuell 5 Monate alt und ca. 35 cm groß. Vermutlich wird er eine mittlere Größe erreichen, wenn er einmal ausgewachsen ist. Kinder findet er auch toll, auch hatte er schon Kontakt mit einer Katze und zeigte sich ganz unaufgeregt. Morris ist ein Mischling, wir kennen seine Eltern nicht, aber er könnte ein Schäferhund-Mix sein. Schäferhunde sind ausgeglichene, nervenstarke und selbstsichere Hunde. Sie kommt mit Artgenossen gut zurecht, aber am wohlsten würden sie sich als Einzelhund mit viel Aufmerksamkeit seines Besitzers fühlen. Wir wünschen uns für diesen wunderbaren Hundebub Menschen, die sein Wesen, seine Gutmütigkeit und sein grenzenloses Vertrauen zu schätzen wissen. Schäferhunde sind loyale und treue Begleiter und benötigt artgerechte Auslastung. Neben einer angemessenen körperlichen Auslastung sollten bei ihm auf Kopf- und Denkspiele auf dem täglichen Programm stehen. Schöne Spaziergänge, interessante Ausflüge und vor allem ausgiebige Streicheleinheiten – davon träumt er. Da er so fröhlich und aufgeweckt ist, hätten seine Pflegeeltern fast gar nicht bemerkt, dass er seit Geburt schon eine Sehschwäche hat…Wenn er in zwei Monaten wieder zum Kontrolltermin geht, schauen wir ob alles gut ist und ob die Augentropfen reichen. Eins ist jedenfalls sicher: blind ist er nicht – und seine kleine Schwäche hat nicht nur dafür gesorgt, dass seine anderen Sinne viel ausgeprägter sind – sondern sie ist auch komplett heilbar. Im ersten Lebensjahr sollten Welpen so wenig wie möglich alleine sein. Außerdem steht die eher anstrengende Pubertätszeit bevor. Das Hormonchaos stellt das Leben der kleinen Racker auf den Kopf. Sie “vergessen” oft alles, was sie bisher gelernt haben, und die Ohren schalten auf Durchzug. Daher ist es in dieser Phase besonders wichtig, konsequent – aber liebevoll – zu erziehen. Und es gibt auch eine gute Nachricht: Auch diese Phase geht vorüber! Bis zum Kontrolltermin spielt er glücklich weiter und erkunde diese neue aufregende und tolle Welt. Er kommt wie alle unsere Schützlinge gechipt, geimpft, entwurmt und entfloht zu dir. Er bringt seinen EU-Heimtierausweis mit und kann nach positiver Vorkontrolle und gegen eine Schutzgebühr von 500 Euro in sein neues Leben starten Und hoffentlich lerne er dann auch bald meine Für- immer – Familie kennen!! 🙂 Vielen Dank Franzi!
