Ihr Blick ist aufmerksam, freundlich und ein kleines bisschen neugierig frech. Genau so, wie man sich einen jungen Hund vorstellt. Nancy durfte inzwischen nach Deutschland reisen und lebt aktuell in ihrer Pflegestelle in Bingen. Dort hat sie sich wunderbar eingelebt und zeigt jeden Tag, wie viel Lebensfreude, Offenheit und Charme in ihr steckt. Sie ist sehr aufgeschlossen, menschenbezogen und begegnet Frauen, Männern und besonders Kindern absolut freundlich. Kinder liebt sie sogar sehr. Auch im Alltag macht Nancy ihrer Pflegestelle große Freude. Sie ist nahezu stubenrein, versteht sich bestens mit anderen Hunden und kommt problemlos mit Katzen zurecht. Selbst Hühner gehören inzwischen zu ihrem erweiterten Bekanntenkreis. Nancy zeigt sich sozial, unkompliziert und neugierig gegenüber ihrer Umwelt. Typisch Junghund entdeckt sie dabei natürlich auch die Welt auf ihre ganz eigene Weise. Spielsachen sammelt sie mit Begeisterung und „bunkert“ ihre Schätze stolz im Körbchen. Und genau hier ist der wichtige Punkt für ihr zukünftiges Zuhause. Nancy hat bereits viel gelernt und sich großartig entwickelt, doch ihre Menschen sollten bereit sein, daran anzuknüpfen. Sie braucht weiterhin klare Strukturen, liebevolle Führung und ein Training mit positiver Verstärkung. Grenzen testen, Dinge hinterfragen und auch mal Unsinn im Kopf haben gehören in diesem Alter einfach dazu. Die Pubertät steht Nancy ebenfalls noch bevor. Eine Phase, in der aus der süßen, folgsamen Junghündin kurzzeitig ein kreativer Dickkopf werden kann. Mit Geduld, Konsequenz, Humor und fairer, positiver Anleitung wird Nancy auch diese Zeit wunderbar meistern. Der Besuch einer positiv arbeitenden Hundeschule kann dabei eine wertvolle Unterstützung sein. Gemeinsames Lernen stärkt nicht nur das Verhalten, sondern auch die Bindung zwischen Mensch und Hund.
