The LIDA refuge is always full, but the current situation is truly extreme. Due to the pandemic containment measures that have been in place for over a year, many Sardinians have fallen into dire economic hardship and are recovering only slowly. And when people themselves have very little left, there's even less for their pets... As a result, more and more dogs and cats are ending up at the refuge, putting even greater strain on the staff. Nora was brought to the refuge by tourists who had rescued her from a difficult situation and had been feeding her. Before the end of their vacation, they wanted to ensure the pretty cat would be well cared for. Now she lives together with tomcat Rouge in a cage at the refuge. To prevent the two from spending months in a cage, we hope that Nora and Rouge can travel to Germany as soon as possible and find their forever homes with nice families. Nora has traveled to her German foster home along with tomcat Rouge and is now looking for a nice home. In the foster home, Nora shows herself to be a human-oriented, totally affectionate kitten, even allowing belly rubs. The little one is very curious and wants to be involved in everything. Nora has a lot of spirit and enjoys playing tirelessly with anything that seems suitable, whether it's a ball, a cloth mouse, or a kitchen sponge. She gets along great with Rouge and Dawson, the two toms in the foster home, often cuddling together on the sofa. If you would like to give Nora a loving home, we look forward to your message. Generally, we prefer homes that are suitable for apartment living with connected balconies or secure terraces for our cats. An enclosed (netted) balcony is required for cat safety.

Das Rifugio der LIDA ist immer voll, aber aktuell ist die Situation wirklich extrem. Durch die über ein Jahr dauernden Maßnahmen zur Eindämmung der Pandemie sind viele Sarden in dramatische wirtschaftliche Notlagen geraten, und sie erholen sich nur langsam davon. Und wenn die Menschen selbst nur noch wenig haben, ist für Tiere schon gleich gar nichts mehr da … Daher landen immer mehr Hunde und Katzen im Rifugio, und die Mitarbeiter sind noch belasteter als sonst. Nora wurde von Touristen ins Rifugio gebracht, die sie aus einer Notsituation gerettet und angefüttert hatten. Vor dem Urlaubsende wollten sie die hübsche Katze jedoch gut versorgt wissen. Im Rifugio lebt sie nun mit Kater Rouge zusammen in einem Käfig. Damit die beiden nicht Monate in einem Käfig verbringen müssen, wünschen wir uns, dass Nora und Rouge sobald wie möglich nach Deutschland reisen und hier Für-immer-Zuhause bei netten Familien finden können. Nora ist gemeinsam mit Kater Rouge in ihre deutsche Pflegestelle gereist und sucht jetzt ein schönes Zuhause. Nora zeigt sich in der Pflegestelle als menschenbezogenes, total verschmustes Katzenmädchen, sogar am Bauch lässt sie sich kraulen. Die Kleine ist sehr neugierig und möchte am liebsten immer überall dabei sein. Nora hat viel Temperament und spielt gern ausdauernd mit allem, was ihr dafür geeignet erscheint, egal ob Ball, Stoffmaus oder Küchenschwamm. Mit Rouge und Dawson, den beiden Katern in der Pflegestelle, versteht sie sich prima, oft wird zu dritt gemeinsam auf dem Sofa gekuschelt. Wenn Sie Nora ein liebevolles Zuhause schenken möchten, freuen wir uns auf Ihre Nachricht. Für unsere Katzen bevorzugen wir generell die Wohnungshaltung mit vernetztem Balkon bzw. gesicherter Terrasse.
