Pepito was at the municipal euthanasia station in Moinesti. Trembling with fear, he sat in the corner of his cell, too scared to move. And no wonder—when you know how the staff there treat the animals. With the help of a sponsor, Pepito was rescued from the euthanasia station and taken to the Ringo Land animal shelter. On the day he was rescued, he went through yet another deeply traumatic experience: the staff there pull the animals out using a wire noose.
