A beautiful, small labrador girl, Pikkis, is looking for a new home. Pikkis is by nature shy; when a stranger arrives, she takes a moment to assess the situation and then retreats further. Approaching a stranger either retreats back or freezes, waiting to see what will happen. With a gentle approach, where even whimpers help to encourage, the cuteness wins, and Pikkis comes to sniff the outcome. There is an advantage to her young age; she needs a lot of encouragement and encouragement to move forward when a situation has been clarified. She runs with a steady gait, not pulling on the leash, more following the handler's movements wherever they are going and slightly tugging at the handler, needing encouragement to move forward. With friends, she happily bounces, seeks out treats, and when she sees a bowl of food, she jumps with joy, the food and the bowl are quickly finished. She doesn't get excited by the bowl, food can be added to the bowl, and she can move around near the bowl without reacting, only she gets excited when the girl is hugged. She is a little nervous about traveling a little, but steadily, it is not serious and no need to make a big fuss. She does well with other dogs. In the new home, there should be a friendly and social dog waiting for Pikkis to provide support in different situations. She is used to living in a larger home and becomes a little closed off when alone. The presence of another dog calms Pikkikses, and then the alone time goes much better. She does not cry on a human's shoulder and has not caused damage when a human is not present. Without a human for 5 hours has been no problem, she wakes up from her place and comes to the door. For Pikkikses, adult homes are sought from a family home, a peaceful living area. She has met teenagers, she was not nosy, and did not approach them herself. From the new owner, it is expected to understand that a shy dog needs time and patience, and before the dog settles in, there may be some unusual behavior in the new home before the dog settles in. Pikkis is indoor clean and can meet the girl in foster home Pukki, where an agreement can be made to meet. Pikkis is a small labrador, the girl weighs 20kg and is of this height.

Pikkis etsii koirakokemusta omaavaa kotia 27.05.2026 Pikkiksestä ei oteta tällä hetkellä enempää kyselyjä vastaan!! Kyselyitä on tullut useita, nyt käyn kotiehdokkaat rauhassa läpi ja olen yhteyksissä kahteen kotiehdokkaaseen jotka pääsevät Pikkistä tapaamaan. Kiitos kaikille kotia tarjonneille. Kaunis, pienehkö labrador tyttö Pikkis etsii uutta kotia. Pikkis on luonteeltaan arka, vieraan saapuessa tutkii hetken tilannetta ja nuuhkii kauempaa. Vieraan lähestyessä joko peruuttaa taaksepäin tai jähmettyy odottamaan mitä on tulossa. Rauhallisella lähestymistavalla jossa myös namit auttavat rohkaisemaan, uteliaisuus voittaa ja Pikkis tulee haistelemaan tulokkaan. Nuoresta iästä on tässä hyötyä, tarvitsee paljon rohkaisua ja kehuja kun jokin tilanne on selvitetty. Hihnassa kulkee nätisti vetämättä, enemmän seurailee taluttajan liikkeitä mihin mahdollisesi ollaan menossa ja hieman hakeutuu taluttajan eteen, tarvitsee rohkaisua mennäkseen eteenpäin. Ei rähjää remmissä, onkin oikein mukava lenkitettävä. Säikähtelee kovia ääniä, käsien nopeita liikkeitä tai mikäli takaa tullaan Pikkiksen huomaamatta, säpsähtää herkästi. Ulos lähtee reippaasti, tekee tarpeet nopeasti ja hieman osoittaa stressin merkkejä, sisälle tulee erittäin mielellään. Odottaa oven aukaisua ja vauhdikkaasti vilahtaa sisälle, kuin turvaan. Sisällä on paljon rennompi ja rauhallinen. Tuttujen kanssa häntä heiluu iloisesti, hakee rapsutuksia ja ruokakupin nähdessään hypähtelee innoissaan, ruoka maittaa ja kuppi tyhjenee nopeasti. Ei vahdi kuppiaan, ruokaa saa lisätä kuppiin ja kupin lähellä voi hyvin liikkua ilman reaktiota, ainoastaan häntä heilahtaa kun tyttöä kehuu. Autossa matkustaa hieman jännittäen mutta nätisti, ei ole pahoinvoiva eikä pidä mitään ääntä. Tulee toimeen toisten koirien kanssa. Tulevassa kodissa tuleekin olla reipas ja sosiaalinen koirakaveri odottamassa jolta Pikkis saa tukea erilaisiin tilanteisiin. On tottunut elämään isommassa laumassa ja yksin jäädessään menee hieman lukkoon. Toisen koiran läsnäolo rauhoittaa Pikkistä ja tällöin yksinolo sujuu myös rennommin. Ei itke ihmisen perään eikä ole tehnyt tuhoja ihmisen poissa ollessa. Tällä hetkellä ilman ihmistä on ollut 5 tuntia ongelmitta, heräilee omalta paikaltaan ja tulee ovelle vastaan. Pikkikselle etsitään aikuiskotia omakotitalosta, rauhalliselta asuinalueelta. On tavannut yläkouluikäisiä lapsia, arasteli eikä hakeudu itse lähelle. Tulevalta omistajalta odotetaan ymmärrystä että arka koira tarvitsee aikaa ja kärsivällisyyttä, uuteen kotiin siirtyessä voi käytöksessä ilmetä kuvauksesta poikkeavaa käytöstä ennen kuin koira kotiutuu kunnolla. Pikkis on sisäsiisti ja sijaiskodissa Pukkilassa jonne tyttöön pääsee sovitusti tutustumaan. Pikkis on pienehkö labrador, painoa on tytöllä 20kg ja korkeutta n.50cm
