REX Dog lovers, this message is for you. Black dog. Those who know the breed know that they are not "just another dog." They have an intelligent gaze, deep loyalty, and a bond that is not given to everyone... but when it arrives, it's for life. And Rex is waiting for exactly that. Rex is affectionate, but also has that balanced independence so typical of good German Shepherds. He seeks his person, yes, but if at that moment it's not possible, he knows how to wait calmly or amuse himself on his own. He's not demanding, he's stable. During the walk, he's very attentive to his person, connected, alert, walking well with the leash, as if he were programmed to team up with you. He's compatible with other dogs, always making the introductions properly. With cats, we don't know yet. At home, he's a calm dog that doesn't need daily marathons to be happy. He enjoys moments of calm, stretching in the sun, observing the world with his serene demeanor. And when you ask him something, he responds: he's obedient, willing, one of those dogs that want to understand you. He can live perfectly in the city if he has his routine and his reference. Sun. But there's a part that weighs. German Shepherds are dogs of bonding, of reference, of "my person." And in an animal shelter, this doesn't really exist. They spend their days, but they don't build the relationship they need to be happy. And this, little by little, extinguishes them from the inside. Són mirada intel·ligent, lleialtat profunda i un vincle que no es dóna a tothom… però quan arriba, és per sempre. I en Rex està esperant just això. En Rex és afectuós, però també té aquella independència equilibrada tan típica dels bons pastors alemanys. Busca el teu contacte, sí, però si en aquell moment no pot ser, sap esperar amb calma o entretenir-se pel seu compte. No és exigent, és estable. Durant el passeig va molt pendent de la seva persona, connectat, atent, caminant bé amb la corretja, com si estigués programat per fer equip amb tu. És compatible amb altres gossos, sempre fent les presentacions com cal. Amb gats encara no ho sabem. A casa és un gos tranquil, que no necessita maratons diàries per estar bé. Gaudeix d’estones de calma, d’estirar-se al sol, d’observar el món amb aquella serenor tan seva. I quan li demanes alguna cosa, respon: és obedient, predisposat, d’aquells gossos que volen entendre’t. Pot viure perfectament en ciutat si té la seva rutina i el seu referent. ☀️ Però hi ha una part que pesa. Els pastors alemanys són gossos de vincle, de referència, de “la meva persona”. I en un refugi, això no existeix de veritat. Aquí passen els dies, però no construeixen la relació que necessiten per estar bé. I això, a poc a poc, els apaga per dins. En Rex necessita sortir d’aquesta gàbia abans que l’espera el trenqui. Necessita deixar de sobreviure i tornar a ser gos.
