Rocco is looking for a home where his cheeky personality can shine! He’ll need someone who understands that he can be protective, and who can give him the space he needs around these things. His new family will need to be around most of the time initially, while his time alone is gradually built back up. Rocco would suit someone who enjoys a playful, lively dog and is happy to give him the patience, routine and guidance he needs to settle in and build his confidence. Rocco is a 2 year old Jack Russell x Cavalier with a fun, cheeky personality. He’s very friendly with people, although he likes to say hello in his own time. Rocco loves his toys and has a real habit of collecting things! He will often take items, including shoes, back to his bed area and can be protective of the things he has chosen to keep there. His new family will need to understand and manage this appropriately. Rocco can be unsure around other dogs and would benefit from making calm doggy friends out and about to help build his confidence. He could live with dog savvy secondary school children who understand his boundaries and give him space when needed. Rocco would benefit from someone being around most of the time while his time alone is gradually built up. He also has a terrier prey drive and isn’t suitable to live with cats. Rocco is a loving, playful and cheeky boy who needs the right home to help him thrive.
